One Alfred Street (Gold Fields House) is a landmark building within the core of Sydney CBD and tourism precinct. The project is owned in joint venture by Valad’s development business (21%), AGP (40%) and its Australian V-Plus Fund (39%).
Valad received Stage 1 Development Consent for the One Alfred Street redevelopment project at Sydney’s Circular Quay and led to an international architectural competition to create a world-class residential development. On 15 November 2010 the Sydney City Council approved an amendment to the existing planning instrument permitting a residential envelope of two towers at One Alfred Street. This increases the existing envelope from 25,000 sqm to over 41,000 sqm. On 2 December 2010 a Stage 2 Development Application was submitted, conforming with the amended LEP.
